This CallCard was issued to celebrate Ireland being the host country for the EC Presidency in 1990. This is one of the earliest Telecom Eireann chip cards.
While many of these CallCards never came wrapped, later on this CallCard was re-issued and this time was sold in plastic wrappers. These wrappers were plain with no colored lines or barcodes printed on them.
